I’m usually super traditional with Chinese New Year: the no-hair-washing on New Year Day, No shoes-buying until 10th, eating a vegetables as the first meal of the new year. But this year I broke all the rules… not being in Hong Kong means I don’t feel any of the atmospheric joys, and forgot all about it.
As a tiny consolation, however, I did make pig’s tongue when I came back from my ski trip, hopefully this coming year will be 大吉大利:)
